Privacy policy
AskedPro is a service of Empirica Corp (“we”). This page explains what information we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Write to privacy@askedpro.com with any privacy question or request.
What we collect
- When you contact us or book a call: your name, email address and whatever you tell us about your business. Calls are booked through Cal.com, which handles the booking under its own privacy policy.
- For snapshots and outreach: public information about businesses, such as the business name, website, phone number, business email address, and public listings and reviews. It comes from the businesses’ own websites, public records such as building permits, and public directories. We do not buy contact lists.
- From clients: the business details you give us, the access you grant us to your listings and analytics, and the performance figures we report on, such as calls and website clicks.
- On this website: nothing beyond what any website receives. We use no cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Our host, Cloudflare, processes standard request data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site, and pages load their fonts from Google Fonts.
How we use it
- To run snapshots and audits. We send AI assistants (OpenAI, Google, Perplexity and Anthropic) questions that name a business and its town, the same questions a customer would ask. We do not send them personal information.
- To deliver the service, write reports, reply to you and send invoices.
- To send a small number of business emails about our service. Every one says how to opt out, and we honor opt-outs within 10 business days.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with the providers that run parts of the service for us: Cloudflare (website hosting and email forwarding), Google (email), Cal.com (call booking), the AI providers named above (questions about businesses only), and our payment processor when we bill you. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep client records, reports and the raw AI answers for as long as you are a client and as long afterwards as we need them for business records and to answer questions about past reports. We delete prospect information when it is no longer useful or when you ask.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you or your business, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you. Write to privacy@askedpro.com and we will reply within 30 days.
Children
Our service is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update this page and the date at the top. See also our terms of service.
